ABOUT US

Our Church has 3D Vision: Declare, Disciple, Defend

1

        Declare

To declare is to boldly proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all people. This aligns with the Great Commission where Jesus commands, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19-20, ESV).

Declaring the Gospel involves sharing the truth of God’s love and salvation through Jesus Christ (John 3:16), proclaiming the kingdom of God (Luke 4:43), and testifying to the transformative power of the Word (Romans 10:14-15). It is an outward expression of our faith and obedience to God’s call, reaching those who are lost and in need of hope.

2

         Disciple

To disciple is to guide believers in their journey toward spiritual maturity. Jesus exemplified this by teaching, mentoring, and living life alongside His followers. Discipleship involves nurturing a deep and abiding relationship with Christ, as expressed in His words:
“If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.”
(Luke 9:23, ESV).

Discipleship includes teaching sound doctrine (2 Timothy 3:16-17), fostering accountability within the body of Christ (Hebrews 10:24-25), and encouraging believers to grow in faith, love, and obedience (Colossians 1:9-10). Through discipleship, believers are equipped to live out their faith and disciple others in turn (2 Timothy 2:2).

3

         Defend

To defend is to stand firm in the truth of God’s Word and safeguard the faith against false teachings and spiritual attacks. The Apostle Peter instructs:
“Always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect.”
(1 Peter 3:15, ESV).

Defending the faith involves knowing and articulating biblical truth (2 Timothy 2:15), addressing doubts and objections with wisdom (Jude 1:3), and living lives that reflect the Gospel’s transforming power (Matthew 5:16). It is both an intellectual and spiritual discipline, rooted in love and guided by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 6:10-18).
